Rideau Park
The neighbourhood is named for Rideau Hall, the residence in Ottawa of the Governor General of Canada. A compact yet diverse neighbourhood, Rideau Park is a mix of single-family homes and low-rise apartment buildings, mostly developed in the 1970s. School and park sites in the centre also serve the residents of adjacent Duggan. A considerable portion of Rideau Park has yet to be developed.
