Come join Dr. Alaa Murabit as she and the Muslim Community of Edmonton celebrate some of Edmonton's best and brightest. The event is the 2016 AREF Scholarship Awards Gala. Hosted by the Al Rashid Education Foundation (AREF), this year's gala promises an incredible line up of speakers not to mention the awarding of nearly $40,000 in scholarship prizes to promising Edmonton an area post-secondary students.
