In June, the City of Edmonton, working with the Greater Hardisty Community Sustainability Coalition and the Forest Terrace Heights Community League, conducted a community workshop to find out how people who live near, work on, or use 101 Avenue would like to see it improve. The City also conducted a number of "pop-up" engagement sessions throughout the summer.
Now that the City has your great ideas, and a better understanding of the constraints and opportunities on the avenue, we would like to present draft concepts of 101 Avenue for your feedback.
Join us and your neighbours to continue the conversations at the open house!
Drop-in anytime from 5-8:00pm. Free childcare and refreshments provided courtesy of FTHCL, GHCSC, and the City of Edmonton. Please help us spread the word and invite other residents and businesses.

Corner Stores Project
The Forest Heights Shopping Centre at 79 Street and 101 Avenue is getting a facelift in partnership with the City's Corner Stores Program. The City will also be collecting information for the Corner Stores program during this open house. The program sets out to restore commercial centres in mature neighbourhoods as hubs of community activity. The community will be integral to the success of this program and the City will consult with the community at various stages to ensure the Corner Stores Program is meeting the needs of residents.
