Doing Business in Latin America is a high-energy learning and sharing event for Edmonton's corporate leaders co-hosted by EEDC and TEC Edmonton.

This event is for businesses that are both experienced in exporting to Latin America and for businesses who are looking to export to Latin America for the first time. Latin cuisine will be served throughout the event along with Chilean wine tasting. Expert panelist presentations will focus on the mining, energy, and environmental services sector. Latin America is strategic business expansion location with a market of more than 600 million people; Canada has 7 free trade agreements signed with key countries in that region. There is also an extensive Canadian presence in sectors like oil and gas, mining, engineering, banking and environmental services. There are many Canadian Embassies, Consulates, Canadian Trade Commissioners, Alberta offices, Provincial Trade Commissioners, and representatives from Export Development Canada located in that region.
