Indulge in the fine local foods and beverages of Edmonton while bike touring around the city. Now you can taste Edmonton without the guilt as the calories are burned off. 

Edmonton's first ever Foodie Bike Tour is a superb way to explore a region rich with festivals, amazing markets, local restaurants, chocolatiers, historical buildings, and breweries under the warm sun and discover a visceral history that dates back to 1795. Add in the breweries, wineries and the river valley with mouthwatering cuisine and you have a perfect cycling destination.

This casual bike tour is 3-5 hours long!! Limited spots available.

Enjoy different meals samples (included in the price) from 5 to 7 different places. Learn stories and history about diverse food vendors. And work out. Don't forget your map and to get a stamp on your Foodie Bike Tour Passport from the places you visit!

Starting point will be at Constable Ezio Faraone Park ( River Valley Victoria, Edmonton, AB T5K 1L4). This park is where the high level bridge and glenora stairs meet. There is free parking at the bottom of the glenora stairs. The LRT Grandin Station or Bus Stop numbers 1754, 1925, 1567, 1614 are close to Constable Ezio Faraone Park. A safety orientation at 10:00 a.m. A waiver form will handed out to sign. Everyone will be given a personal Foodie Bike Tour Passport. Guided tour departures 10:10 a.m. Our first stop will be at Rosso Pizzeria for some fresh forno oven pizza. If anyone needs any minor bike repairs Red Bike will be offering free minor repairs. We will then head to Crestwood to OLiV Tasting Room to learn unique ways to use olive oil in different types of food. Then we will head over to Cafe Blackbird for some fun popular menu items. Circling back to the river valley we will be enlightened by Wild Earth Cafe on their savoury pastries. Heading over to Little Italy to learn a rich history of the Italian Centre and try a variety of cheese and olives. Passing the Street Performers to catch a glimpse of a show as we head over to Sabor Divino for some tapas and wine tasting. Proceeding to Black Pearl to learn about oysters and the type of fresh seafood this family restaurant has to offer. Lastly we will stop at BLVD for some tasters of their popular food items. We will have a backdrop where pictures can be taken. With BLVD's large patio people are welcomed to sit and mingle or head back with one of the guided tours.

If you need to rent a bike we have an agreement with River Valley Adventure to supply bikes. You can call them at 780.995.7347. Please use code "Foodie Bike Tour 2016" when reserving bikes. Bikes can be picked up at 10 a.m.
