The On the EdgeSpeaker Series features scholars and new professionals on the cutting edge ofresearch from the University of Alberta's Faculty of Graduate Studies and Research. MFA candidate Jonathan S Green will be joining us this month to discuss his work exploring our relationship with the wilderness by combining historical documentation from early explorers, imagery from wilderness survival books, and his own photographs and drawings taken in the field. Light refreshments will be served.

Jonathan Green comes frommixed Aboriginal and British, Scottish heritage. He was born in Labrador and currently lives in Edmonton, Alberta where he is in the MFA program at the University of Alberta. Jonathan is represented by The Leyton Gallery of Fine Art.
