Celebrate Canada's 149th birthday in Edmonton by joining in on some of the many fun family events taking place around the city. End the day by watching the spectacular Canada Day fireworks finale in the river valley.

Enjoy the magnificent fireworks display over Edmonton's river valley parks and the North Saskatchewan River. Access is restricted in Kinsmen Park, and to the High Level & Menzies Bridges after road closure are in effect. Kinsmen playground and picnic area are closed on Canada Day.

Expect traffic delays two hours before the fireworks and 90 minutes after the show. Please be patient and courteous to help to make the trip home from the fireworks safe for everyone.
