Join us as Compute Canada launches the first Canadian Chapter of Women in HPC. Celebrate leaders and early career women in advanced research and technical computing fields, and network and connect with leaders in HPC.
This special Cocktail Event held before CANHEIT | HPCS 2016's Opening Reception will feature an introduction to Women in HPC and lightning talks from women in a variety of career levels in the Canadian HPC sector. This event welcomes anyone interested in promoting women in HPC!
What is Women in HPC?
Women in HPC (WHPC) is an international network created to encourage women to participate in the HPC community by providing fellowship, education, and support to women and the organizations that employ them. Through collaboration and networking, WHPC strives to bring together women in HPC and technical computing while encouraging women to engage in outreach activities and improve the visibility of inspirational role models.
