You are invited to grab your mountain bike and join us in Edmonton's river valley. We are hosting the Bell Joy Ride right here in Edmonton, Alberta! Joy Ride is about getting women of all abilities together on our incredible river valley trails. We are hosting monthly rides and building community! Whether you are looking to gain confidence on your mountain bike or ride with amazing people, we are focusing on the women in our community. This is our third ride and we will have a clinic on TRAIL REPAIR - how to get your bike back up and running when something fails. We will be working on a skill this month as well - the bunny hop. This is a skill that will get us over some of the trickier obstacles out on the trail. Choose your riding level and join us for an amazing ride.

We are excited to announce our shop of the month: Pedalhead Bicycle Works! With their help, we will make sure you know how to fix your bike if something happens out on the trail and let you know what you should carry with you while riding. Changing a tire or fixing a broken chain will not be a problem. You will know how to get yourself back riding, should the worst happen! This shop is excited to participate in our Joy Rides and support the women's community. Come meet the amazing staff at Pedalhead Bicycle Works. Find out who they are and what their store has to offer. http://www.pedalheadedm.com/

No problem. There will be women of all skill sets and abilities joining us. There is a ride for everyone and nobody gets left behind.

What if I am not very good at riding?

No problem. Group rides are broken up into ability levels. We will never force you to ride something you are uncomfortable with and nobody gets left behind. You might even be surprised at what you can ride! Just by riding with us, you will gain skills and confidence. On the next ride you may even want to step it up a group level!

Is this just for beginners?
