Rape is Real and Everywhere is what happens when seasoned comedians who have survived rape share their experience and joke it out. Prepare yourself for hilarity, cathartic honesty and comedy that punches up at the issues.
Seasoned stand-up comedians, who are survivors, use humour as a celebration of resiliency to connect with an audience looking for big, cathartic laughs. This explosive show puts faces and stories to a taboo epidemic with nameless victims. It's funny, raw and human.

There's a slick piece of East Van graffiti that, in elegant cursive, reads: ‘Rape is Real and Everywhere.' It is, and we can talk and joke about it openly, together.
Doors: 7:30pm, show 8:00pm. General seating. Come at 7:30 to get good seats!

Bring photo ID as this is a 19+ event.

What is the refund policy?
We do not offer refunds. Offer the tickets up on the Facebook event page and see if anyone will grab them.
What if I really want to see the show but can't afford the tickets?
Our General Admission tickets are $15.00 plus service charges. We know this amount isn't workable for everyone so if cost is preventing you from seeing the show, email us at rapeisrealandeverywhere(at)gmail.com. We will put you on our community waitlist. If you would like to donate via our website, your donation will go directly towards funding a subsidized seat for someone else to see the show!
