Tech Time

Tech Time offers a workshop environment where participants are introduced to tutorials on a wide selection of topics in variety of formats (video, text, pictorial) that can be explored to gain knowledge and improve technology-based skills. Topics covered include:

• Computer Basics - Operating systems, internet browsers, Microsoft Office, commands, navigation file and folder management, menu options and more!
• Mobile Devices - Cellphones, tablets, apps, digital music, photography and more!
  
• Everything Internet - email, browsers, search engines, social media, web apps, The Cloud and more!
• Learning the Library - EPL's digital content, using EPL.CA, eBooks, eLearning, managing your account and more!
• Employment Help - resumes and cover letters, job searching, online resources, online job applications and more!
  

Sessions are facilitated by knowledgeable EPL staff members who will get participants started working through the available resources. They will be there to answer questions and guide self-directed learning.

Windows computers will be available but please bring your own device to practice on, especially if you have a Macbook, Windows laptop, iPad, tablet etc.
