Weaving City Narratives: A Community Conversation

Weaving City Narratives: A Community Conversation

Starts:

Ends:

What happens when a city's story is in the hands of the people? What is the story we want to tell ourselves? Our children?

The Edmonton Heritage Council invites you to the Edmonton Intercultural Centre in McCauley School (9538 107 Avenue) for an evening of open conversation about the stories that connect you to Edmonton. It might be your long lineage here on this land, or it might be your recent arrival from near or far. The people you've encountered, the grounds on which you've lived or travelled, or the tastes and smells that have shaped your journey. What adds to your sense of belonging?

Join us for an evening of facilitated small group conversations followed by a collective discussion to make meaning of the stories being told. This is a continuation of our previous Community Conversation in early March, and we welcome new community members to these ongoing conversations. Refreshments will be provided.

For more information or to RSVP by phone, please call the Edmonton Heritage Council at 780-429-0166.
