Join us for a full day of learning related to immigration and settlement in Edmonton. This learning day will highlight successes and barriers to settlement in Edmonton, and will inspire us to collaboratively work together and build a welcoming city!

The purpose of this day is to mobilize immigration and settlement knowledge in Edmonton in order to create a shared learning space of information for the multiple sectors supporting newcomers. Knowledge presented will highlight successes and challenges related to immigration and settlement in Edmonton and provide promising practices to help further awareness and understanding about immigration and settlement issues in Edmonton.

Who should attend?

Practitioners, decision makers, researchers, or community leaders from a variety of sectors including: settlement, government, post-secondary, business, skills training, and community/grass roots organizations.

Why should I attend?

The knowledge shared from this day will inspire action to create a more welcoming and inclusive Edmonton. This learning day will provide a shared understanding of the current knowledge that exists within the sectors around immigration and settlement and will inspire new collaborations and partnerships.
