Innovation Case Studies & Makerspace Tour

12:15 – 1:30PM (Shaw Conference Centre, Salon 11)

1:45 – 2:45PM (Stanley Milner Public Library)

OXYGEN has reached out to innovation leaders in the federal, provincial, and local creative communities. We're excited to hear their stories of successful innovation and tips for others looking to drive grassroots change.

Brent Wellsch (Systemic Designer at the Alberta CoLab)

 Roy Nader (Clicks and Tips)

Adam Rozenhart (Digital strategist & organizer of many local initiatives)

Following their presentations and a Q&A, participants will head for a tour of Edmonton Public Library's Makerspace—a collaborative environment where ideas are shared, expanded and brought to life. The tour will include demos of 3D printing and other accessible tools.

We hope to see you at one or both of these sessions! For those outside of Edmonton or unable to attend, we will be streaming via Periscope. You can email us today if you would like to learn more about this option!

NOTE: Our partners in the Social Media Working Group are also holding another innovation event in the morning, focusing on government & social media. Please register for that session here.

About OXYGEN: We are a network for new & young federal public servants, as well as the Alberta affiliate for the national Federal Youth Network (FYN). We organize a variety of learning and networking events over the course of the year. We're always looking for new members and volunteers for our steering committee.
