Electric Energy Production and Distribution in Alberta
Alberta is committed to take a leadership role in the reduction of GHG emissions. To achieve its objectives the government of Alberta is set to announce new initiatives to increase production of renewal energy. Alberta has indicated that it aims to eliminate its coal thermal energy production. Should it be able to make its case, the wind energy sector is set to benefit from substantial new business opportunities.
