Free family fun with Scare on the Square

Get into costume and visit Churchill Square to celebrate a spooky good time this Halloween. From noon to four, Scare on the Square will host free activities for the whole family to enjoy. Check out Ron Pearson's mind-blowing illusions and his Headless Terror above TIX on the Square. See your favourite local acts transform into international superstars: Billie Zizi as Amy Winehouse, The Almighty Turtlenecks as Wings, and Lucas Chaisson as Elvis. Carve a jack-o-lantern with the help of the Sculptors' Association of Alberta, explore mazes, go trick-or-treating at the City Market, take in a story on a wagon rideā€¦ and discover so much more!

The Edmonton Arts Council, in partnership with the City of Edmonton, programs activity and event happenings in Sir Winston Churchill Square for casual and day-to-day public use between major festivals and civic events. Since August 2011, EAC Churchill Square Programmer Bob Rasko has produced a diverse schedule of offerings open to the public including: Sunday Swing 'n Skate, CypherWild, Live at Lunch, and Zumba on the Square.
