Celebrate National Forest Week with Root for Trees! Enjoy the great outdoors and learn about the many benefits of the urban forest. Each day will be filled with activities for all ages, including:
- Seedling give-away! Learn more about native species of Edmonton and take a seedling home for your garden.
- Nature themed photo booth! Tweet your photo with #RootForTrees to be entered in a daily prize draw.
- Ask a tree expert! An opportunity to ask a City of Edmonton forester your question about trees. Topics can include, but are not limited to general tree care, pruning, how to plant, and pest management.
