Join CNIB for a different kind of concert! Wrapping up BlindFest 2015, this one-of-a-kind experience blends spoken word, multiple genres of music, and a completely dark room to raise awareness of vision loss. The show will feature a number of talented musicians, some of whom are blind or partially sighted.
Opening remarks by MLA Marie Renaud. Artists include soul/funk group DS3, folk sensation Erin Kay, award-winning singer-songwriter Julia Nicholson, Asim Chin of CBC Radio fame, and material from Titilope Sonuga – an internationally renowned poet and TEDx speaker whose father happens to be a CNIB client.
Doors open at 6:30 PM. A cash bar will be available. Please note: due to the nature of the show, guests will not be permitted entry after the concert has begun.
