It only happens once a year and photographers and costumers of all skill levels are invited to join in the fun at the Annual Steampunk "Carnival" Photoshoot happening July 19th 2015 from 6pm - 8pm. Running for a short 2 hour time, Fort Edmonton Parks 1920's carnival will be privately reserved for costumers and photographers who have purchased a ticket to this event, to enjoy posing and snapping pictures inside unimpeded by the public. Fort Edmonton Park has been gracious to allow the event planners this special location opportunity as it's rare that the 1920's carnival is allowed to be rented out to private groups; so please tell your friends about this unique location opportunity and invite them out for 2 hours of photo fun and hanging out with friends. The Details: - It is the responsibility of the Photographers/Costumers to make arrangements to exchange pictures. - Photos taken during this event are kindly asked to be shared to the FB group: The Official Edmonton Steampunk Group [Please share your images in a folder to prevent clogging the group newsfeed] - Photographers are encouraged to have their own model release forms and/or business cards to hand out to models and other photographers to keep in contact and ensure proper social media picture tagging. - Costumers are encouraged to bring a card with their name and/or a picture of them on it to keep in contact and ensure proper social media picture tagging. - Costumers are expected to wear a Steampunk costume or take this opportunity to give their Steampunk "Dark Circus" Ball costume a trial run. (Unattended children may be fed coffee and given a basket of kittens.) - Please make sure you arrive on time as this is a time sensitive event.
