Canada Day Pony Rides

Celebrate Canada Day with the horses at Whitemud Equine Learning Centre. Children ages 3 - 10 will enjoy a 20 minute ride on one of our special lesson horses in the indoor riding arena at WELCA (Whitemud Equine Learning Centre). We provide riding helmets for safety and our fabulous lesson horses for riding. A parent or guardian must be willing to lead the horse or sidewalk with the child.

While you are at WELCA, you and your family can take a self-guided tour of the centre. Meet our minis - pygmy goats, donkey and pony. Make a craft, visit historic Keillor Log Cabin, stop and meet one of our horses up close and then finish off with a walk on the river valley trail. Bring a picnic for Whitemud Park. Lots of fun for the entire family!

PLEASE NOTE: Riders MUST check in 20 minutes before your scheduled ride time in order to guarantee your spot.

NO open-toed or heeled shoes.

Be prepared to sidewalk (beside the horse) with your child(ren).
