TRC Final Report Release: Live Stream from Ottawa

On June 2, 2015, the Truth and Reconciliation Commission (TRC) will release its Final Report on Indian Residential Schools in Canada. The release of the TRC's Final Report on Indian Residential Schools will be live streamed from Ottawa on the TRC's website.
Edmonton families, schools, workplaces and communities are encouraged to watch the live stream together in the spirit of reconciliation and discuss its significance to our collective future as Edmontonians and Canadians.
TRC is also hosting a 4-day closing event in the National Capital Region from May 31 to June 3. It is working with its national partners to host events in cities and regions across Canada - including Edmonton.
The City of Edmonton, the Confederacy of Treaty Six First Nations, the University of Alberta, the Edmonton Public Library, the Province of Alberta's Ministry of Aboriginal Relations, Aboriginal Affairs and Northern Development Canada-Alberta Region, the Edmonton Police Service, the Edmonton Catholic School Board and the Edmonton Public School Board are partnering to deliver local events commemorating this historic milestone in our collective history.
