FAQs

What's this about an early bird registration?

Do you like prizes? Because if you do, you'll want to sign up before March 25th. We'll be doing some sweet prize draws the day of the event! You'll definitely want to sign up as soon as possible!

Are there ID requirements or an age limit to enter the event?

No! This is a family event, so everyone is welcome. Granted, small children and babies might not get the most out of this event, so we'd recommend leaving them at home!

What are my transport/parking options getting to the event?

We suggest parking at the Windsor Car Park or taking the LRT, and hopping out at the Dent/Pharm station. More information about how to reach GDX is available on our website.

What can/can't I bring to the event?

Please refrain from bringing alcohol, drugs, weapons, and any objectionable material (racist, bigoted, homophobic, etc.). Please bring some snacks and food for the day or some money. The closest food court is located in SUB, which is all the way across Quad.

Where can I contact the organizer with any questions?

You can contact us via our e-mail address (gdx@vgadclub.com) and visit our website.

Is my registration/ticket transferrable?

We would prefer that you cancel your ticket so that others can register themselves, but if you absolutely need to give your ticket away, we won't stop you!

Can I update my registration information?

Absolutely! Just follow the usual procedures for Eventbrite.

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?

Not at all! Save a tree! Simply show us your reservation via the mobile app or the mobile website on your phone.

What is the refund policy?

For attendee cancellations, please cancel your tickets by April 10th. For presenters, you may cancel your registration up to April 10th of the event. Please remember that GDX depends on your attendance for it to be possible. If your ticket is wasted, our chances of running and improving this event will diminish greatly!

If presenters would like a post-event refund instead of donating their fee to Extra Life, please contact the GDX Organizers by May 2nd and we will manually process your refund.
