1. Deploying F5 with Microsoft Remote Desktop Services

a. Remote Desktop Services enables users to remotely access full Windows desktops, or individual Windows-based applications, on Remote Desktop Session Host computers. In an environment using BIG-IP LTM system, a farm of Remote Desktop Session Host servers has incoming connections distributed in a balanced manner across the members of the farm. Come learn how you can reduce your costs and simplify your architecture.

2. Post-TMG: Securely Delivering Microsoft Applications

a. Microsoft Forefront Threat Management Gateway customers need an alternative to secure their Internet-facing Microsoft applications. F5 BIG-IP Application Delivery Controllers provide the advanced features necessary to fill the gap.

3. Demo of f5 – Microsoft Remote Desktop Services.

Denis Grimard has worked with medium and large Information Technology organizations since 1992. He began his career in IT while in the Canadian Armed forces at 15 Wing Moose Jaw for 8 years. Denis then did two years consulting with large organizations prior to moving on to Saskatchewan Wheat Pool / Viterra as an employee. Denis performed several roles at Viterra as both managerial and technical lead for the Service Desk, Second Line Support, email and communications, Windows Server Team, VMware Team and finally managing and supporting the largest Citrix implementation in Saskatchewan. After 10 years at Viterra; Denis moved to Saskatoon to be the Senior Systems Administrator on Windows and VMware for Cameco Corporation, and finally to be the Field Systems Engineer since September 2012.
