OVERVIEW
Once Upon A Spring Time is an event organized by Apricity. Through an evening of interactive displays, sweet treats and story telling, the event aims to raise funds for the Welcome Baby Program through the Edmonton Public Library. The main objective of this event is to shine a light on the issue of child literacy and how the Welcome Baby Program works to eradicate it. The funds raised allow the program to provide the gift of reading to new parents and babies in Edmonton.
ONCE UPON A SPRING TIME EVENT
On the evening of Sunday, March 22, Apricity will welcome approximately 180 Edmontonians to a celebration of child literacy. Through an evening of storytelling, experiential learning, and silent and interactive live auction, attendees will be brought into the magical world of books, much like a child being introduced to a story for the first time. The evening program will include a silent auction, sweet treats, magical displays and performances all related to the world of books. It is our hope that attendees appreciate the magic of the library as it is seen through a child's eyes.
