The Woman of Vision Luncheon is the highlight of the Global TV series that celebrates the accomplishments of outstanding women in the Edmonton and Alberta area. About the Global Woman of Vision television series:
The Global Woman of Vision program celebrates the accomplishments of outstanding Edmonton area women. These are stories that inspire, written and produced by Lesley MacDonald. This popular program includes 12 Woman of Vision stories each year. They air the first Monday of each month on Global Edmonton News Hour at 6 PM and the following day on Global's Morning News. Each recipient is also featured in Lesley's Avenue Edmonton Magazine blog "Heroes and Visionaries" as well as in a 9-page spread in Avenue's popular March issue. In addition, these stories are featured in a one hour Global Television special that airs every May.
The annual awards luncheon pays tribute to the 12 recipients featured on Global Television during the last year. Bursaries are awarded to help young women realize their vision and the tickets of 50 female high school students are paid for by generous sponsors to inspire these girls to consider where their vision will lead them.

What are my transport/parking options getting to the event?There is free parking onsite. If you wish to ride the LRT to Northlands, it is only a 100 meter walk to the EXPO Centre.
