Pedcrawl 2: The Return of the Pedway.
More than 60 people came to last year's wildly fun and sometimes maddening pedcrawl. Just as many have asked us to do it again.
Well, we are.
On Friday March 6th, if you're game for a night of the Edmonton Wayfinding Society taking you underground for a walk of discovery, beer, dancing and occasionally getting lost, come pedcrawl with us.
Come discover the many mysteries of the Edmonton pedway, and learn why our wayfinding system is leaving so many pedestrians feeling lost and forgotten.
There will be food, drink, prizes and games. And probably an impromptu dance party, along with your option to wayfind your own city (we'll show you how). Come prepared to get lost and prepared to find out why our pedestrian wayfinding thinking is in bad need of rethink.
The Society is a not-for-profit, volunteer-run supergroup that could use some help now and then. If you feel like donating something toward our efforts, we'll gladly accept.
FAQs
Are there ID requirements or an age limit to enter the event?
Yes. You must have a valid ID to enter a business that sells alcohol. No one under 19, unless pre-arranged, please.
What can/can't I bring to the event?
You can bring a smartphone, a sharpie and some money. You can't bring panda bears, Rob Ford or your drycleaning.
Where can I contact the organizer with any questions?
