Self-publishing is a viable option for almost any kind of writer these days. Learn what you need to know to get started, as well as marketing tips, pitfalls, and the questions that you need to ask in order to succeed and not go broke as you pursue the self-publishing route for your book project. The 2014 EPL Writer-in-Residence is no stranger to the world of self-publishing. His first book ‘Americas’ was self-published and he took that knowledge and put it to use on a larger scale with the publication of the 40 Below Anthology which came out in November last year. We’ll talk about the ups and downs of choosing to self-publish a book and try to dispel some of the myths that exist about the topic.
