Meet noted painter, musician and award-winning illustrator of Northwest Passage, artist Matt James!

Matt James has most recently illustrated Northwest Passage by Canadian folk singer Stan Rogers. He used the lyrics of a classic song to accompany his illustrations for a children’s book that received a 2013 Governor General’s Literary award. A retelling of a song with illustrations, maps, bibliographical information of the key explorers involved, a timeline and sheet music for the original song.
