PricewaterhouseCoopers & the 2014 Sterling Committee are proud to present the 27th Annual Elizabeth Sterling Haynes Awards, celebrating the professional theatre in Edmonton.
The nominees for the 2013/2014 Season of professional theatre in Edmonton will be announced at 4.30pm, Monday June 2nd, 2014 at The Next Act (8224 -104 Street). Come enjoy a sparkling beverage and excellent food from chef Nathan McLaughlin.
The nominees announcement will be hosted by Sterling award winning actor, and star of Punctuate Theatre's East of Berlin, Mathew Hulshof.
Nominees will be read by two of Edmonton's brightest young talents: the star of the Freewill Shakespeare Festival's upcoming The Taming of the Shrew, Mary Hulbert, accompanied by one of our finest blossoming talents who was featured this year in the Citadel Theatre's Clybourne Park, Evan Hall.
We will also announce this year's recipients of The Margaret Mooney Award for Achievement in Administration, The Ross Hill Award for Achievement in Production and Outstanding Contribution to Theatre in Edmonton.
A new award will be revealed as well as a very special Special Achievement Award along with this years Sterling Gala Hosts, writers, director, crew and sponsors.
The 27th Annual Elizabeth Sterling Haynes Awards will take place at The Mayfield Dinner Theatre, 16615 - 109 Avenue on Monday June 30th beginning at 4:30pm for cocktails with dinner at 5:00pm and show promptly at 6:30pm. After the show we will celebrate with dancing and regaling ‘till all hours at last year's hit venue Krush Ultra Lounge. Yes. That's KRUSH ULTRA LOUNGE!
Tickets are $65+GST, include full buffet, a spectacular show & dance, and are available by calling the Mayfield Dinner Theatre box office (780-483-4051) starting Tuesday June 3rd, 2014.
