Love reading? Love to talk about books you've read? Come join us for lively discussions on all types of fiction and non-fiction. Hear about the books other people are reading and discuss books we'll read as a group. We’ll feature a different title or author each month. Share your impressions, thoughts and interpretations of a book that we have all read. New members are always welcome.
Friday Book Club:
Join fellow readers the last Friday of every month, 12 noon, for our lively discussion about books, movies, culture, current events and anything else that pops up for discussion. Lots of fun and everyone welcome.
The Milner Book Club in February looks at two more works from Canada's literary tradition: first with a trip back to the 1950s on a Ceylonese boat with Michael Ondaatje's The Cat's Table, then forward to Catherine Gildiner's brilliant memoir of the 1960s, After the Falls.
