On February 17, families are sure to find activities and entertainment that appeal to them. Indoors or outdoors on Family Day, the Legislature Building, including the pedway and the beautiful grounds promise family fun � and it's all free!
Families will have the opportunity to delve into our history as they explore the Alberta Legislature Building guided by fun and informative scavenger hunts. Enjoy live puppet shows,balloon artists, face painting, crafts, a magician and a photo booth in the pedway. Head outdoors and embrace winter on the Legislature's picturesque grounds with horse-drawn wagon rides, snowman-making contests and skating. And if anyone gets too chilly, hot chocolate will be served on the south grounds in a heated tent where local sports celebrities will be on hand to pose for pictures and to sign autographs.
