Share Your Thoughts: Louise McKinny Urban Beach

Help plan an urban beach in Louise McKinney Park along Edmonton's river front. The City of Edmonton is looking for your input on how this beach should look and be used by residents and visitors to our city.

The urban beach will be an artificially created space in the city that looks and feels like a natural public beach without the ability to enter or go swimming in the river for safety reasons. The beach can provide a number of events or activities in the summer including wine tastings, movies, beach sports and food trucks. In the winter it could contribute to embracing Edmonton's winter months with snowy activities and festivals.

From June 11 until June 30, 2013, an online survey will also be available to contribute your ideas.
