Downtown Block Party

Come and join the celebration on June 21 at the downtown block party. The Shaw Conference Centre and its neighbours, ATB financial and CKUA, are welcoming a new addition to the neighbourhood.

Marking the centre's 30th anniversary and the opening of the new Edmonton Welcome Centre, everyone is invited to enjoy the food, music, sights and sounds.

The CKUA Stage will be hosted by Andy Donnelly, host of the popular "Celtic Show". Enjoy the Boogie Patrol blues band, the Sugar Swing Dance Club and reggae rock blues with Our Sound Machine.

Visitors are encouraged to visit the Shaw Conference Centre's recently changed public art displays, showcasing the best in Edmonton students' creative work as well as professional artists' work. Tour the centre that has been a gathering place for the community, visitors and many others from around the world for the last three decades. And check out the new welcome centre that will greet locals and visitors alike in a new open concept.
