Human Trafficking is a serious human rights violation and is reported by the United Nations to be the fastest growing form of transnational organized crime. Canada is considered a transit, source and destination country for victims of human trafficking. In order to effectively combat human trafficking in Alberta, we need the participation of organizations like yours. Attend this free, interactive workshop and learn what human trafficking looks like in Alberta and what your organization can do to identify and respond to trafficking in Edmonton.

ACT Alberta is a not for profit coalition of law enforcement, government ministries, nongovernmental organizations and volunteers identifying and responding to human trafficking. ACT Alberta serves the needs of trafficked men, women and children and addresses international and domestic trafficking, for labour and sexual exploitation.
