Although the guitar has a history full of changes in both form and playing technique, it is one of the few instruments that has never lost popularity, even with the technological advancements of the music world. Under the direction of accomplished MacEwan alumnus, Jim Head, young guitarists in this flourishing program explore a number of contemporary music styles, while building a strong technical foundation. Audiences are continually impressed with the artistic integrity and professional etiquette of this performance.
