Edmonton International Fringe Theatre Festival

Starts:

Tuesday, August 16
10:00 AM

Ends:

Wednesday, August 17
1:30 AM

The Edmonton International Fringe Theatre Festival's 30th Anniversary edition theme is Fringeopolis. Fringeopolis transforms Edmonton's historic Old Strathcona district into a mini-municipality sprung from more than 200 performances by local, national, and international theatre companies, busking acts, children's activities, vendors, artisans and visitors.

The Edmonton International Fringe Theatre Festival is the largest and longest-running festival of its kind in North America. The Edmonton Fringe doesn't jury or censor artists' work in any way and selects performances using an unbiased lottery system. Participating artists receive 100% of ticket revenue from their performances; the Fringe relies on donations from festival patrons, public funders, and business sponsors to operate.
