Canada Day at the Alberta Legislature

On Canada Day enjoy the annual open house and tour the historic Legislature Building at your leisure. You'll have the rare opportunity to walk on the Chamber floor, an honour usually reserved for Members of the Legislative Assembly of Alberta. Visit with the Clerk of the Assembly and the Sergeant-at-Arms and find out more about what happens there daily. Outside, the 21-gun salute is sure to get your attention. On the north grounds splash in the fountains! Enjoy a full afternoon of free family entertainment, including musical and dance performances and games for the children.
