Last year it was called #twilightYEG. Nothing to do with the books/movies (trust me), just a word that started with "tw", what with Twestival and the like, I thought I should follow suite. We met my goal of $3000, thanks to some awesome foody-philanthropists who paid a lot of money for the backyard BBQ donated by Century Hospitality.

This year, my goal is $10000, and the event is called #yegHelp, because all I want to do is help people and have fun while doing it. It's pretty lofty, but I'm committed to doing whatever I can so that we can help women and children at La Salle Shelter through the Royal LePage Shelter Foundation.
