Wednesday, April 13
Equal Voice is proud to announce the #YEGparity Speakers Series.
The series will take place every second Wednesday at 7:00 PM from April through August 2016, with the goal of inspiring, encouraging, and motivating women to run for office. If you've ever thought about running, campaigning, or are interested in learning more about the dynamics of campaigning as a woman, join us for a captivating series with some of Alberta's most accomplished people in politics, media, and academia.
The first event will focus on the all important question: why run for office? Becoming involved can be a huge investment of spirit and time--so why do it? Equal Voice Champion and Mayor of Mornville, Lisa Holmes, will speak to her own inspiration for running for office, and why you should do it too.
April 13: Leaning All the Way into Running for Office
