0°Kernohan
Named for an early pioneer farmer who operated a grocery store here in the 1880s and 90s,Kernohan was not annexed until 1961. Part of Clareview, it saw the bulk of its development takeplace during the 1960s oil-driven economic boom. Kernohan is bounded by Kennedale Ravineand the river valley, both popular features with the area's high proportion of young families.
