In Alberta, women only represent about 26 per cent of elected officials on municipal councils. We need that to change. Let's make history at our next municipal election by aiming for gender parity on councils across Alberta.
Join Status of Women Minister Stephanie McLean, Metis Nation of Alberta President Audrey Poitras, and other elected officials to talk about launching your campaign for municipal office.
Please note that this event is family friendly; attendees are welcome to bring their children.

What are my transport/parking options for getting to the event?
Paid parking for guests is located outside of the Conference Centre in Lot M. The rate is $14.00 per day (Monday to Friday) and $5.00 per day (evenings, weekends and holidays). You can buy permits at the dispenser in Zone M (entrance to lot). Additional pay parking is available in Zone R (next to Lister Centre), as well as next door at the Jubilee Auditorium.
What are my transit options for getting to the event?
