The Hon. Sir Winston Churchill Society of Edmonton is proud to present the First Annual YEG Downtown Speak-off!We're going old school and bringing back the public town hall debate with a modern twist!Join fellow Edmontonians for a free and entertaining evening!The first of its kind, the YEG Downtown Speak-off will feature 4 local celebrity speakers going head-to-head to debate popular hot topics of our time. The event will kickoff at 5:30 pm with the arrival of local food truck Preserve. Food and drink options will be available for purchase throughout the evening. The debate will begin around 6:00 pm and will wrap up between 7:00 pm and 7:30 pm.LOCATION NOTE: The Centennial Pavilion is part of Winston Churchill Square and located in the southwest corner of the square above the Edmonton Shop on the Square and Tix On The Square. Stair/ramp access is location on the north side of the Pavilion.The Centennial Pavilion is a covered outdoor space. Unless the weather is very severe (i.e. thunder, lightning, wind) the event will go ahead regardless of rain.There is limited seating available. The majority of the space will be standing room only.
