The 2016 Access and Privacy Conference will take place on June 16 and 17, with pre-conference workshops on June 15, at the Marriott River Cree Resort, just west of Edmonton, Alberta. This year's theme, Shining a Light on Access and Privacy, will explore the ins, outs, and the often overlooked or hidden aspects of the access and privacy field.
The Access and Privacy Conference, hosted by the University of Alberta's Faculty of Extension, was first held in 2001 and since then has hosted a wide range of international and national speakers. Annually, it attracts over 250 delegates from across Canada, from both the private and public sectors.
