Join us April 2nd, 2016 for our annual Farewell to Winter Patio Party! This event has sold out every year so do not delay in purchasing your tickets.
Patios are no longer just for summer! Join the Fairmont Hotel Macdonald in partnership with Winter City Edmonton to celebrate the Second Annual Farewell to Winter Patio Party -- a uniquely Edmonton winter experience. It's time to be proud of our Edmonton winters and fall in love with all the wonderful things this season has to offer.
For the Battle of Alberta Fans, come watch the game on our patio on a large projection screen.
The Confederation Lounge is not accessible for this event, ONLY those attending the Fire & Ice Farewell to Winter Patio Party are allowed access to the patio and gardens.

Primary Reception Food service is from 7:00pm - 9:00pm. There will be light snacks available throughout the event such as our signature Truffle Oil Popcorn.

Tickets are $35 plus Gratuity (18%), GST (5%), & ticket handling fees ($2.53). NOTE that the ticket displays GST/HST which is not accurate. It is GST/Gratuity and ticket handling fee's that are being charged.
This "Fire & Ice" themed event includes · Winter appetizers and hors d'oeuvres prepared by Chef Jost and our culinary team. Fire pits, Ice Bar, Music, Outdoor screens and an ice carving presentation. ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES ARE NOT INCLUDED.

Is the event weather dependant?
No. The event will happen regardless of weather conditions. Please dress accordingly and appropriately as access to the confederation lounge does not apply to patio event attendees.
Are there ID requirements or an age limit to enter the event?
Family Event, IDs will be checked at the cash stations for drink tickets.
What are my transport/parking options getting to the event?
Parking is available at the hotel. $35.00 for self parking and $45.00 for valet.
What can/can't I bring to the event?
No outside food or beverage permitted.
