Linocut Relief Printing at Creative Practices Institute
Happy 2016!
If your resolution is to learn a new skill, why not come down to our Swain Print Studio to try a century-old technique and make new artwork!
In this 3 hour class, students will learn relief printing techniques using linoleum and ink to create one to three monochromatic images. Students can create images from their own ideas, carve a plate and print using our electric printing press that was generously donated by the Swain family. It is recommended that all students wear aprons or work clothes that are OK to get dirty.
Date: Wednesday, February 10, 2016
Time: 6 - 9pm
Cost of Workshop:
$50 for CPI members
$60 for general
Additional Fees: Students will be provided with lino, inks, tools and paper for an additional $10 fee paid the day of the workshop.
