Join us at End of Steel Park in Old Strathcona for the 13th annual Ice on Whyte Festival.

The Festival is open for outdoor fun between 10 am to 10 pm from Thursday, January 21 to Sunday, January 24 and again from Thursday, January 28 to Sunday, January 31, 2016.

The festival kicks off with the ATCO Gas International Ice Carving Competition. 10 teams of talented ice carvers from around the world compete for top prize and create ice carving masterpieces for visitors to enjoy. Watch artists as they work on their creations from Friday, January 22 and complete on Sunday, January 24 at noon.

Every day is jam packet with outdoor winter activities. Watch artists at work, listen to live music by Alberta artists, slide down the giant ice slide, make some crafts, try your hand at ice carving in the L'il Chipper igloo, taste some delicious food and hot beverages in the outdoor food court, stop by the Rusty Anchor Grog Stop for grown ups and much more!
