Golden Prairie Marketplace is a one-day, family-friendly community market celebrating the works of vendors who are Indigenous, who identify as racialized, or who have disabilities, especially those within the queer, trans, gender-diverse, and Two-Spirit communities.
We aim to celebrate and support the many ways that creativity and tradition can exist through food, crafts, and art. We are excited to provide you with access to a wide range of talented artists and makers who will have their work available for sale. The market will include art originals and prints, jewellery, crafts, food, decor, zines, textiles and clothing, homemade personal care items and more.
We want to recognize that creativity belongs to everybody, even those who may not typically engage in it for paid work, who may not have access to artistic or culinary educational opportunities, and those who may create to preserve traditions and/or for survival or healing.
