Open House: Proposed zoning changes in Glenora for residential tower development

Residents are invited to an open house to share their feedback on proposed zoning changes to a residential tower development with commercial uses at street-level on the northeast corner of 142 Street NW and Stony Plain Road.

The proposed changes to the existing DC2 Site Specific Development Control Provision regulations would allow for a revised site design that includes:

* Adding a community plaza and opportunity for a senior's residence
* Increasing the maximum number of residential units from 270 to 550
* Changing the maximum height of the three residential towers from 69, 69 and 54 metres to 90, 60, and 50 metres respectively

The meeting will be an opportunity to learn more about the proposal and provide feedback to the City and the applicant. Feedback will be summarized in a report to city council for a final decision on the zoning changes.
