The Yards Magazine Issue 4 Launch Party & Salon

Please join us for the launch of The Yards Fall 2015 issue. Meet the volunteers who put together the magazine every season, while enjoying a live podcast recording and conversation with Danny Hoyt of the Oliver Community League and Ian O'Donnell of the Downtown Edmonton Community League, about the surprising ways community leagues shape your neighbourhood. It's an early celebration of Community League Day (Sept. 19).

6pm - Doors open + cocktails. Hors d'oeuvres provided by Dovetail Catering.

7pm - A live interview between editor Omar Mouallem community league ambassadors Danny Hoyt and Ian O'Donnell.

8pm - Stick around for an evening of conversation and cocktails, while NVS provides music for the evening.

Published by the non-profit Central Edmonton News Society in partnership with the Downtown Edmonton and Oliver Community Leagues, The Yards is the voice of these two communities and will be mailed to all Downtown and Oliver residents in December. The Yards is a hyper-local quarterly magazine focused on urban, community, cultural and social issues in central Edmonton.
