Symphony in the City: Disney's Fantasia

This Labour Day long weekend, ATB Financial and the Edmonton Symphony Orchestra are excited to bring back the incredibly successful Symphony in the City! This event will be a chance for families to gather in a shared community experience in Churchill Square to celebrate our city's summer festival season with an explosive finale.

In 1940, Walt Disney showed that animated motion pictures can be much more than children�s cartoons with his classic film Fantasia - a magical blend of groundbreaking animation and great classical music. In 2000, Disney studios did it again with Fantasia 2000. Highlights of both classic films will be shown onscreen as Robert Bernhardt leads the ESO in live orchestral accompaniment. The movies come to life for thousands in Churchill Square. Come early, and save your seat!
